Young man arrested for knife assault on woman in viral video

Police have arrested a young man after a video showing him assaulting a young woman with a knife went viral on social media. The arrested individual has been identified as Ramesh Thada Magar, approximately 24 years old, a resident of Bhamke, Ward 2, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, according to the Area Police Office in Tulsipur.

He was apprehended from his home on Tuesday night. The police stated that the video was recorded near his house in Basghari during the month of Chaitra.

The video depicts Ramesh Thada Magar verbally abusing and attacking a 21-year-old woman from Tulsipur with a knife. The woman is seen crying and pleading, saying, “I won’t do it again.”
