Weather today: generally clear Hill, foggy Tarai

The weather will remain generally clear in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Karnali and Sudurpaschim. However, there is possibility of fog in many parts of Terai in the morning, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Currently, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country while many parts of the plains are foggy.

During the night today, the weather will remain normal in the hilly areas of Sudur Paschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces whilst the rest of the areas will be partly cloudy.

The minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley today is measured 2.5 degrees and the maximum is expected 20.2 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, the lowest minimum temperature today has been recorded in Jiri with 1.5 degree Celsius and the highest of 23.6 degree Celsius in Deepayal.
