University Bill, 2079 BS tabled in NA meeting

The University Bill, 2079 BS has been tabled in the meeting of the National Assembly (NA) held Thursday.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal presented the bill on behalf of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Shishir Khanal.
The Bill is required for the prosperity of the country, and the development of its moral norms and values, said Minister Paudyal.
She added that establishing a university for the country’s quality development by incorporating subjects showing the country’s originality in the curriculum alongside the development of information and technology is needed.
