UML demands PM Dahal’s resignation in both Houses

Kathmandu, 05 July: The Communist Party of Nepal (United Marxist Leninist) has asked for the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ following his admission that Pritam Singh, an Indian transporter living in Nepal for decades, lobbied in Delhi to make him the Prime Minister of Nepal.

The CPN-UML Parliamentary Party unanimously decided that Dahal should be made accountable to his statement and asked to resign from the post immediately.

The UML also obstructed the proceedings of the Rastriya Sabha demanding that Dahal’s resignation must come for the resumption of the House proceedings.

During a function to mark the 90th birthday celebration of Pritam Singh, PM Prachanda had said that the transport magnet had frequented to Dehli several times to make me the Prime Minister of Nepal.
