Two suspects detained following Moscow Concert Hall attack

Kathmandu, 23 March:  Russia has detained two people suspected of carrying out a deadly attack on Friday at a concert venue of The Crocus City Hall in Moscow, according to SCMP.

“Two people suspected of carrying out a deadly attack at a concert hall near Moscow on Friday have been detained in Russia’s Bryansk region following a car chase” it said quoting a lawmaker.

More than 60 people were killed while 145 others reported injured in the carnage that broke out prior to the start of the concert.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for an attack. “The terror group took responsibility for the attack in a short statement published by ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq on Telegram on Friday,” mentioned CNN.

Video footage from the Crocus City Hall shows the vast complex, which is home to both the music hall and a shopping center, on fire with smoke billowing into the air, it said.
