Police have detained two Chinese nationals from Naxal on suspicion of engaging in suspicious activities, and they were made public on Tuesday. The individuals arrested are identified as 33-year-old Wang Wend and 32-year-old Chen Shuangui, according to Ramshwar Karki, spokesperson and Superintendent of Police at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.

The arrests were made based on information that Chinese nationals, who had entered Nepal on a ‘visit visa’, were involved in suspicious activities contrary to the purpose of their visa in the Naxal Narayanchour area of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1.

The detainees allegedly opened an office named RR Building Entro Technology in Naxal Narayanchour, where they illegally created accounts on a live hub app using foreign models and women. They reportedly engaged in conversations with foreign and Indian nationals, soliciting money and conducting suspicious activities, as stated by the police.

They have been apprehended from Naxal and sent to the Department of Immigration at Kalikasthan for further investigation and necessary action under the Immigration Act, spokesperson Karki informed.
