The voting begins at Naya Kiran Secondary School, booth in Chitwan-2

The voting in Naya Kiran Secondary School, booth in Chitwan-2 has begun.

The voting here was stalled after contesting parties protested against Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Rabi Lamichhane who was applauded by his supporters there.

The supporters of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chanted slogans on Lamichhane at the school situated in Bharatpur Metropolitan City 11. The leaders as well as cadres of other parties protested. The polling officer ordered the voting to stop to avoid clashes and violence.

As the situation eased after discussion with all concerned, the voting process resumed.
