In Kathmandu, as part of the campaign to remove unauthorized structures along the riverbanks in the valley, a seven-story concrete building was demolished today. The demolition began from the top of the building, which was reportedly constructed in violation of river standards. After a day’s effort, the bulldozer managed to completely demolish up to the fourth floor of the building. The demolition work, which began early in the morning, was carried out by a team including local administration and municipal police.
