Seven injured in ambulance and mini truck collision on Prithvi Highway

In Tanahun, seven people were injured this morning in a collision between an ambulance and a mini truck on the Prithvi Highway at Myagde Rural Municipality-6, Manahari. The accident occurred when a mini truck with the registration number Ga 1 Kha 5659, heading towards Damauli from Pokhara, collided with an ambulance coming from the opposite direction, bearing the registration number Lu. Pra. 01-001 Ja 0046.

According to Inspector Deepak Kumar Karki of the District Police Office, Tanahun, six people in the ambulance and the driver of the mini truck were injured. Among the injured, one person’s condition is critical.

The injured include the ambulance driver, 24-year-old Kushal Pariyar from Thawang Rural Municipality-2 in Rolpa, 61-year-old Junarakhi Budha Magar from the same area, 25-year-old Anjana Budha Magar, three-year-old Yuwan Budha Magar, 36-year-old Chijamaya Gharti from Bhume Rural Municipality-7 in Eastern Rukum, and 60-year-old Dhanprasad Budha Magar from Thawang Rural Municipality-2 in Rolpa. Inspector Karki stated that the condition of 25-year-old Anjana Budha Magar is serious.

The injured are receiving treatment at the GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Centre in Belchautara.
