KATHMANDU — The second edition of the ‘Global Consumer Expo 2026’ is scheduled to take place from June 12 to 16 at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu. Event Solution, the organizing entity, formally announced the upcoming exhibition through a press release issued on Monday.

Bearing the official slogan “The New Shopping Destination,” the five-day trade fair is expected to bring together domestic and international brands, innovative enterprises, and thousands of consumers. According to the organizers, the primary objective of the expo is to serve as an expansive platform for both Business-to-Business (B2B) networking and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) engagements.

The exhibition will feature more than 100 exhibitors representing diverse commercial sectors. The product lineup will span fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), household appliances, electronics, fashion apparel, health and beauty products, technology solutions, handicrafts, and jewelry. The organizers estimate an aggregate footfall of over 35,000 visitors throughout the duration of the event. To incentivize attendance, the expo will feature exclusive promotional discounts, lucky draws, and gift schemes. Event Solution aims to develop the property into a premier platform aligned with Nepal’s expanding consumer economy.

Speaking on the strategic vision behind the exhibition, Managing Director of Event Solution, Bijaya Sagar Pradhan, emphasized that traditional retail spaces cannot replicate the dynamics of a curated trade fair. “There is no viable alternative to a comprehensive expo because it creates a distinct ecosystem where manufacturers, business entities, and consumers converge under one roof,” Pradhan stated. “Unlike conventional commercial spaces that are designed solely for transactions and sales, this exhibition offers a genuine opportunity for both sides to engage, interact, and truly understand each other’s expectations and preferences.”

Additionally, the organizers have introduced a structured entry system for the second edition to refine the demographic profile of the attendees. “This year, we have implemented a ticketing system because our goal is to attract visitors who are genuinely interested in contributing their time, effort, and attention toward fostering a robust consumer culture and supporting specialized exhibitions,” Pradhan explained. “The entry fee of 50 rupees is entirely nominal, intended primarily to manage the crowd flow and ensure that the venue hosts purposeful engagements between the exhibitors and the public.”
