Sarbendra Khanal registers candidacy in Tanahu-1

Sarbendra Khanal has filed his candidacy in Tanahu-1 for the by-election being held on April 23.  He registered his candidacy at the district election office in the afternoon.

Khanal, candidate from CPN-UMl, proposed by Bhagawati Neupane and supported by Ekbahadur Rana.

Tanahu-1 has fallen vacant due to the resignation by Ram Chandra Poudel after being elected for the post of the President.

Monday is the last day for nomination for the by-election for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) being held in Tanahu-1, Chitwan-2 and Bara-2
