RSP decides to quit government

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) decided to leave the government.

The unanimous decision to withdraw participation from the cabinet was taken by the joint meeting of central committee members and lawmakers of the party, Rabi Lamichhane, RSP’s chairperson informed at the press conference held after the meeting today.

The RSP decided to call back its ministers and a state minister from the government. But, it will continue its support provided to the incumbent government as withdrawing the support may trigger political instability, said Lamichhane.
