Kathmandu – The central committee meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has commenced today.

Even before the meeting began, a dispute arose within the party regarding participation. Dissatisfied factions within the party have boycotted the meeting, accusing Chairman Rajendra Lingden of attempting to include individuals who do not have the authority to participate according to the party’s constitution.

There is growing discontent within the party over the invitation extended to all candidates from the election held on Falgun 21. Seats were left vacant during the inaugural session, including those of former chairman Prakash Chandra Lohani, former chairman Kamal Thapa, senior leader and vice-chairman Bikram Pandey, among others.
