Rolpa jeep accident death toll rises to 20 amid rescue efforts

Kathmandu – The death toll in the Rolpa jeep accident has reached 20.

According to the police, the jeep, which was heading from Rukum East to Jaljala, fell approximately 800 meters down a cliff in Thawang-1, Rolpa, resulting in the deaths of 20 people.

The police stated that the accident occurred because the road was slippery due to ongoing rain.

Rescue operations are continuing at the accident site, the police reported.
