The construction of the venue for the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), scheduled to be held in Bharatpur, Chitwan from Ashadh 7 to 9, is underway at a rapid pace. The preparations for the opening ceremony, set to take place at the Guesthouse Ground in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10, have accelerated the construction work. An aluminum structure-based dome using German technology is being built for the inaugural session.

The dome’s roof will be made from special waterproof tensile fabric, designed to protect participants from sun, rain, and wind. Media Space Solution Kathmandu is handling the construction. According to the company’s managing director, Sirjal Bhattarai, three domes will be connected to create a large hall covering approximately 3,000 square meters.

The structure will have ample space for LED screens, fans, coolers, and seating arrangements. Bhattarai mentioned that the setup will allow participants to easily view the stage from within the dome. The construction is being carried out using technology typically employed in large international events, ensuring a strong, safe, and weather-resistant structure.

He stated, “With the convention approaching, we have intensified the construction work.”

Central member Rajan Gautam informed that parking arrangements for participants and visitors will be managed at the central bus terminal area. The RSP has invited top leaders from national political parties as well as representatives from neighboring countries for the opening session.

Approximately 3,000 delegates are expected to participate in the closed session of the convention. While the opening session will be held at the Guesthouse Ground, the closed session is planned to take place at the industrial exhibition center of the Chitwan Industry Association, located nearby.
