Rahul Gandhi vacates his official house

Kathmandu, 23 Apr: Former Chairman of the Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi has vacated his official bungalow exactly a month after his parliament membership was terminated by the Lok Sabha speaker.

Gandhi handed over the key to the staff of the Lok Sabha secretariat on Saturday.

Gandhi, a prominent opposition leader was disqualified as member of parliament on 24th March following the District Court, Gujarat verdict on his election speech in Karnataka in 2019.

The Lok Sabha secretariat had terminated his membership in a super-fast speed and cancelled the allotment of the official bungalow.
