Rahul Gandhi vacates his official house

Kathmandu, 23 Apr: Former Chairman of the Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi has vacated his official bungalow exactly a month after his parliament membership was terminated by the Lok Sabha speaker.

Gandhi handed over the key to the staff of the Lok Sabha secretariat on Saturday.

Gandhi, a prominent opposition leader was disqualified as member of parliament on 24^th March following the District Court, Gujarat verdict on his election speech in Karnataka in 2019.

The Lok Sabha secretariat had terminated his membership in a super-fast speed and cancelled the allotment of the official bungalow.
