Rabi to be leader of RSP’s parliamentary party

Kathmandu, 1 May: Rabi Lamichhane, will be formally elected parliamentary party (PP) leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) following his return to the Parliament.

The party’s central working committee (CWC) has proposed his name which PP is almost certain to endorse.

Dor Prasad Aryal who had been elected to the post after disqualification of Lamichhane as House member soon after election had resigned from the post to pave way for Rabi.

Like all the major parties Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and RPP, Rabi will also be holding twin posts of party and its parliamentary wing leadership.
