Kathmandu – Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party and former Prime Minister, has claimed that the government has inflicted the most pain on poor citizens.

Speaking at an event in Kathmandu on Sunday, Dahal stated that the government has dealt the harshest blow to the working class, which is why communist parties need to stand firmly for class solidarity. He emphasized the necessity for parties to unite to elevate the class struggle.

Dahal remarked, “Currently, the government’s efforts have caused the most harm and pain to the poorest and the underprivileged. It’s the poorest, whom we consider our class base, that have been attacked. We have been weak in ideologically and firmly holding onto our class base. Reactionaries, both domestic and foreign, are attempting to eliminate communists in Nepal by attacking our class solidarity. Therefore, we must advance the class struggle by uniting all communists.”

Chairman Dahal also asserted that the Nepali people still place their trust in the communist parties in Nepal.
