Prayers and homage at Plane crash site Pokhara

The Pokhara Metropolitan city paid homage and performed prayers in honour of the people who met with a fatal air accident on its 13th day in Pokhara.

The ATR 72 aircraft had crashed on — with 72 on board.

Khagaraj Adhikari, chief minister of Gandaki Province, mayor and deputy mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, government officials and the general public attended the program.

Lighting up 72 “DIYO”, attendees prayed for peace for the deceased soul. They have also prayed for safe and accident free air travel in future in the country.

Meanwhile, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Kaski organized prayers at the crash site. The prayers in both Hindu and Boudha rituals were offered with the family, relatives and friends of those who lost life.
