Pope discharged from hospital

Kathmandu: Pope Francis has been discharged from hospital in Rome after successful treatment of Bronchitis.

The 86-year-old Pontiff was admitted to the hospital after complaints of breathing problems on Wednesday.

He was discharged on Saturday.

“I wasn’t frightened, I’m still alive,” Pope told reporters and tearful well wishers outside the hospital before being driven away, reads AP News adding ‘he was seen smiling and waving from the car, before getting out to speak to a crowd. He then headed for the Vatican’.
