Police arrest three more suspects in Ishwari Bhujel murder case

Kathmandu – Police have arrested three more individuals in connection with the murder of Ishwari Bhujel.

Ishwari’s husband, Kumar Thapa, known as ‘Nepali Bro’, was arrested on Saturday on charges of murdering his wife. Today, police apprehended three additional suspects.

According to the police, those arrested include 36-year-old Bikram Thapa Magar from Nuwakot, 40-year-old Pujan Thapa Chhetri from Balaju, and 25-year-old Pratiksha Acharya, originally from Jumla and currently residing in Gokarneshwar.

The murder took place in Paiyutar, Lolang, Tarkeshwar Municipality-6, Kathmandu. Kumar is accused of killing his wife with a sharp weapon during a domestic dispute.

SP Pawan Bhattarai of the Kathmandu District Police Office stated that the court has extended their custody by five days for further investigation.
