PM Shah to meet EU ambassadors in Nepal to discuss cooperation

Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to hold a collective meeting with non-resident ambassadors and mission chiefs from European Union (EU) member countries based in Nepal on Tuesday.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting is scheduled for 11:30 AM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister will share information about Nepal’s current priorities. Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and EU member states and exploring various dimensions of mutual cooperation, as informed by the Prime Minister’s press and research advisor, Deepa Dahal.

Earlier, on Chaitra 25, Prime Minister Shah had also met collectively with ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions from various countries based in Nepal.

In that meeting, participating diplomats had inquired about the new government’s agenda, to which Prime Minister Shah had expressed his commitment to good governance, economic development, and balanced foreign relations as the main priorities of his government.
