Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to address questions raised in the Federal Parliament regarding the government’s annual policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year.

According to the agenda of the House of Representatives meeting, the Prime Minister will provide clarifications on the queries and concerns raised by the lawmakers during the discussion on the address.

Previously, the President had presented the policy and program at a joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament, and a clause-by-clause discussion on it is ongoing in the house.

After the discussion concludes, the process will move forward to make decisions on the Prime Minister’s responses and any proposed amendments.

In today’s meeting, the Finance Minister will present the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill, and there will be a discussion on the report of the House of Representatives Rules Drafting Committee.

In yesterday’s session, the opposition had obstructed the parliamentary meeting, seeking the presence of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
