PM Dahal expands the cabinet

Kathmandu, 3 May: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today included three more members, all from the Nepali Congress, to his Cabinet.

PM Dahal has allocated them the portfolios. Dhanraj Gurung has been allotted the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs whereas Dig Bahadur Libmu will be in charge of Youth Affairs and Sports. Similarly, Mohan Bahadur Basnet will be the Minister of Health and Population.

Prior to the cabinet expansion, the ruling parties had held a meeting at Baluwatar, PM’s official residence which was attended by PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, NC Chair Sher Bahadur Deuba and Unified Socialist (CPN) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The meeting had discussed providing the full shape to the government together with contemporary political issues.
