PM Balen Shah to address parliament on government’s fiscal policies today

Prime Minister Balen Shah is set to respond today to questions raised in the Federal Parliament regarding the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. Following the Prime Minister’s address, Parliament is prepared to pass the policy and program today.

President Ram Chandra Poudel presented the government’s policies and programs at a joint session of the Federal Parliament on Baisakh 28. During yesterday’s session, leaders from various political parties shared their views and engaged in discussions on the program.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, today’s session will continue the remaining discussions on the policies and programs. The Prime Minister will address the queries raised by the lawmakers during the discussions.

Subsequently, amendment proposals submitted by the lawmakers will be put to a vote, and the agenda includes the potential approval of the complete policies and programs.
