At least one person died as security personnel opened fire when an angry mob of youth torched Minister Jwala’s car today.

Three protestors were wounded in retaliatory action and all the three injured were taken to nearby Kist Hospital, Lalitpur while one of them was declared dead, said police report.

Angry youths who have been protesting on issues relating to examinations on EPS (Employment Permit System) to go to Korea for employment set ablaze a car at Blakumari today. The ablaze car with registration number BA 2 Jha 586, belongs to Prakash Jwala, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport.

An attempt by Minister Jwala’s personnel security officers to disperse the mob by opening fire did not work.

The protesters asked those in the car to leave and immediately torched it, officials said.
