NP Saud, Sher Bahadur Deuba’s loyalist, will be the new foreign minister.

Saud, central member of Nepali Congress (NC), is being sworn-in today at 3 PM as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The cabinet led by Dahal is still short of 5 ministers and the cabinet expansion for the rest is said to take place after the by-election being held on 23 April.

It is said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal agreed to include him in the cabinet before his visit to India on the pressure from NC leadership.
