Nepse Index Sheds 9.19 Points
Kathmandu, November 11: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index, a benchmark for the stock market, has declined by 9.19 points today. According to the Nepse, the index closed at 2,616.95 points.
Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the performance of large-cap companies, has also decreased by 4.45 points, settling at 469.80 points. Out of the 13 sub-indices, while shares of five sub-indices increased, the share prices of eight sub-indices declined.
A total of 11,134,178 units of shares worth Rs. 4.73 billion were traded. According to the Nepse, Life Insurance, River Falls Power, and Mai Khola Hydropower shares have hit a positive circuit breaker, with a 10% increase in their share prices.
Investors of Samriddhi Finance and Kalinchok Darshan have gained 9.99% and 9.77%, respectively. Similarly, investors of Nepal SBI Bank, Prime Bank, Rawa Energy, ICFC Finance, and Jyoti Bikas Bank debentures have lost 6.79%, 4.17%, 4.03%, 3.83%, and 3.67%, respectively.
