NEPSE Drops Further as Trading Volume Falls by 2 Billion Rupees
The declining trend of the NEPSE index continued on Tuesday as well. On Tuesday, the NEPSE dropped by 13.09 points to stabilize at 2632.94 points. The trading amount on Tuesday was more than 2 billion rupees less compared to the previous day.
On Monday, the trading amount was 9.43 billion rupees, while on the following day, it was 7.24 billion rupees.
A total of 190,77,583 shares of 67 listed securities were traded. Similarly, the share prices of 67 companies increased, while those of 170 companies decreased. On Tuesday, the highest trading was in the founder shares of Hydro Electricity Investment, and the second highest trading was in Himalayan Reinsurance.
