NEPSE Crashes by 59 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has plummeted by nearly 59 points today, indicating a significant downturn in the securities market. According to NEPSE, the index has dropped by 58.93 points to settle at 2,470.39.

The sensitive index, which measures the performance of large-cap companies, has also declined by 9.52 points to stand at 444.88. Of the 13 sub-indices, all have experienced a decrease in share prices. A total of 15,504,929 shares worth Rs. 5.68 billion were traded.

NEPSE data shows that investors in Swarojgar Laghubitta, Upper Sange Hydropower, NIBL Growth Fund, Ingwa Hydropower, and Nabil Balance Fund III have gained 8.81%, 7.83%, 4.85%, 4.14%, and 4.08%, respectively.

On the other hand, investors in Himalayan Hydropower, Nepal Finance, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower, Shweta Ganga Hydropower, and NIC Asia Flexi Cap Fund have lost 10%, 8.74%, 7.96%, 7.62%, and 7.55%, respectively.
