Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda Meets Indian Counterpart Modi During Formal Visit

Kathmandu – Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has met with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi during his formal visit to India.

Dahal congratulated Modi on assuming office for the third consecutive term. Dahal expressed his belief that Modi’s tenure will further elevate the relationship between Nepal and India. The discussion between the two leaders is believed to have covered various topics related to the longstanding bilateral ties and mutual interests between Nepal and India.

They also discussed the implementation of past agreements and understandings. Prime Minister Dahal had gone to Delhi at the invitation of Modi to attend hhis swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Modi yesterday .

Accompanying Prime Minister Dahal were his daughter Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and other high-ranking government officials. Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to return to Nepal this evening.
