Nepal’s Foreign Minister Khanal visits China

Kathmandu – Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has departed for Beijing today on a four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay in China, Minister Khanal will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Wang to further strengthen Nepal-China relations and enhance mutual cooperation. He will also have separate meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials. Aiming to attract foreign investment to the country, Minister Khanal will participate in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing and hold discussions with Chinese entrepreneurs and businesspeople.

In honor of Minister Khanal, the embassy will host a welcome ceremony where he will interact with the Nepali community. Minister Khanal is scheduled to return home on Ashadh 3.
