Nepal to face America in crucial ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match

Kathmandu – Nepal is set to face America today in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. The match will take place at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, starting at 9:30 AM.

In the ongoing series between Nepal, America, and Scotland, two matches have been completed so far, with Scotland emerging victorious in both. In the first match, Scotland defeated Nepal by two runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method, and in the second match, Scotland also defeated America by the same margin using the same method.

In the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 points table, Nepal is currently in seventh place. To qualify for the World Cup global qualifier, Nepal must win all of their remaining 11 matches. Additionally, to retain their One Day International (ODI) status, they need to finish in the top six. Therefore, today’s match is crucial for Nepal.

Scotland has played 30 matches, winning 16, losing eight, and having six matches with no result, accumulating a total of 38 points.
