Nepal sets NPR 2.124 trillion budget for upcoming fiscal year

The government led by Balendra Shah has set the budget for the upcoming fiscal year at NPR 2.124 trillion. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced this budget size in Parliament on Friday.

Out of the total allocation, NPR 1.270 trillion is designated for recurrent expenditure. The capital expenditure is set at NPR 431 billion, and NPR 422 billion is allocated for financial management.

The revenue target is set at NPR 1.404 trillion. Grants are projected at NPR 61.74 billion, and foreign loans are expected to amount to NPR 247 billion.
