Nepal sets 257-run target for Oman in ICC World Cup League-2 match

Kathmandu—In the ICC World Cup League-2 cricket match on Tuesday, Nepal set a target of 257 runs for Oman.

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal was all out for 256 runs with one ball remaining. In Nepal’s competitive total, Asif Sheikh scored 94 runs while Arjun Kumal contributed 48 runs. The pair shared a 123-run partnership for the second wicket.

Additionally, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 33 runs, and Arif Sheikh played an innings of 43 runs off 24 balls. Other players, however, could not reach double figures.

For Oman, Nadim Khan took 3 wickets, while Sakil Ahmed and Hasnain Shah claimed 2 wickets each. Similarly, Jiten Ramanandi and Aryan Bis took 1 wicket each.
