Nepal Rastra Bank updates foreign exchange rates for major currencies today

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 152.71, and the selling rate is NPR 153.31.

For the European euro, the buying rate is NPR 179.31 and the selling rate is NPR 180.02. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 206.72, while the selling rate is NPR 207.53. The Swiss franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 195.53 and a selling rate of NPR 196.30.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 110.35 and a selling rate of NPR 110.78. The Canadian dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 111.39 and a selling rate of NPR 111.82. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is NPR 120.02 and the selling rate is NPR 120.49.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.69, with a selling rate of NPR 9.73. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 22.48 and a selling rate of NPR 22.57. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at a buying rate of NPR 40.70 and a selling rate of NPR 40.86. The Qatari riyal has a buying rate of NPR 41.86 and a selling rate of NPR 42.06.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is set at a buying rate of NPR 4.71 and a selling rate of NPR 4.73. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of NPR 41.58 and a selling rate of NPR 41.74. The Malaysian ringgit is at a buying rate of NPR 38.82 and a selling rate of NPR 38.97. The South Korean won for 100 units has a buying rate of NPR 10.25 and a selling rate of NPR 10.29. The Swedish krona is set at a buying rate of NPR 16.47 and a selling rate of NPR 16.53, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of NPR 24.00 and a selling rate of NPR 24.09.

The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 19.51 and a selling rate of NPR 19.58. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at a buying rate of NPR 498.64 and a selling rate of NPR 500.60. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 404.82 and a selling rate of NPR 406.42. The Omani rial is at a buying rate of NPR 396.64 and a selling rate of NPR 398.20. The Indian rupee for 100 units is set at a buying rate of NPR 160.00 and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. It is noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
