Nepal Rastra Bank updates foreign exchange rates for major currencies today

Kathmandu – Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one American dollar is set at NPR 150.62, while the selling rate is NPR 151.22.

Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is NPR 172.66 and the selling rate is NPR 173.34. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 199.34 and the selling rate is NPR 200.13. The Swiss franc’s buying rate is NPR 186.76, with a selling rate of NPR 187.50.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 105.61 and the selling rate is NPR 106.04. The Canadian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 106.46, with a selling rate of NPR 106.89. The Singapore dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 116.65 and a selling rate of NPR 117.11.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.34, and the selling rate is NPR 9.38. The Chinese yuan is set at a buying rate of NPR 22.25 and a selling rate of NPR 22.34. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.13 and a selling rate of NPR 40.29, while the Qatari riyal is at NPR 41.35 for buying and NPR 41.52 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht’s buying rate is NPR 4.58 and the selling rate is NPR 4.60. The UAE dirham is set at a buying rate of NPR 41.01 and a selling rate of NPR 41.17. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 36.41 and a selling rate of NPR 36.55. The South Korean won’s buying rate for 100 units is NPR 9.84, with a selling rate of NPR 9.88. The Swedish krona is at a buying rate of NPR 15.73 and a selling rate of NPR 15.79, while the Danish krone is set at NPR 23.10 for buying and NPR 23.19 for selling.

The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 19.21 and a selling rate of NPR 19.29. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at a buying rate of NPR 490.14 and a selling rate of NPR 492.09. The Bahraini dinar’s buying rate is NPR 399.52, with a selling rate of NPR 401.11. The Omani riyal is at a buying rate of NPR 391.24 and a selling rate of NPR 392.79. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at NPR 160, with a selling rate of NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. It is noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
