Nepal Rastra Bank updates foreign exchange rates for major currencies today

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 151.88, while the selling rate is NPR 152.48.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 175.80 and the selling rate is NPR 176.50. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 203.73, with a selling rate of NPR 204.54. The Swiss franc’s buying rate is NPR 190.78 and the selling rate is NPR 191.53.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 106.92 and the selling rate is NPR 107.35. The Canadian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 108.58, with a selling rate of NPR 109.01. The Singapore dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 118.30 and a selling rate of NPR 118.77.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.48, and the selling rate is NPR 9.52. The Chinese yuan’s buying rate is NPR 22.46, with a selling rate of NPR 22.55. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at a buying rate of NPR 40.47 and a selling rate of NPR 40.63. The Qatari riyal’s buying rate is NPR 41.66, with a selling rate of NPR 41.82.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is NPR 4.64 and the selling rate is NPR 4.66. The UAE dirham is set at a buying rate of NPR 41.35 and a selling rate of NPR 41.52. The Malaysian ringgit’s buying rate is NPR 37.43, with a selling rate of NPR 37.58. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 10 and the selling rate is NPR 10.04. The Swedish krona’s buying rate is NPR 16.10, with a selling rate of NPR 16.16, and the Danish krone’s buying rate is NPR 23.52, with a selling rate of NPR 23.61.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 19.38 and a selling rate of NPR 19.46. The Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate is NPR 494.32, with a selling rate of NPR 496.27. The Bahraini dinar is set at a buying rate of NPR 402.78 and a selling rate of NPR 404.38. The Omani riyal’s buying rate is NPR 394.47, with a selling rate of NPR 396.03. For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ and that updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
