Nepal Rastra Bank sets today’s exchange rates for major currencies

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the fixed rates, the buying rate for one American dollar is set at NPR 151.56, while the selling rate is NPR 152.16.

Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is NPR 178.16, and the selling rate is NPR 178.86. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 206.39, with a selling rate of NPR 207.21. The Swiss franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 194.28 and a selling rate of NPR 195.05.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 109.09, and the selling rate is NPR 109.52. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 111.74 and a selling rate of NPR 111.18. The Singapore dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 119.09 and a selling rate of NPR 119.57.

The exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.68 for buying and NPR 9.72 for selling. The Chinese yuan is set at a buying rate of NPR 22.20 and a selling rate of NPR 22.28. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.41 and a selling rate of NPR 40.57, while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 41.59 for buying and NPR 41.76 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.66 and a selling rate of NPR 4.67. The UAE dirham is set at NPR 41.26 for buying and NPR 41.43 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 38.18 and a selling rate of NPR 38.33. The South Korean won is set at NPR 10.29 for buying and NPR 10.33 for selling per 100 units. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of NPR 16.42 and a selling rate of NPR 16.48, while the Danish krone is set at NPR 23.84 for buying and NPR 23.94 for selling.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 19.34 and a selling rate of NPR 19.42. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at NPR 494.08 for buying and NPR 496.04 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 401.35 and a selling rate of NPR 402.94. The Omani rial is set at NPR 393.64 for buying and NPR 395.20 for selling.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. The central bank has noted that these rates can be revised at any time as needed. It is also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
