Nepal enters Semi-finals at ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier

Kathmandu, 31 Oct: Nepal has secured its spot for the semi-final beating Malaysia.

In a match under ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier held today at Tribhuwan University Cricket ground, Kirtipur, Nepal defeated Malaysia with six wickets and secured its berth as four finalists.

Batting first, Malaysia scored a total of 165 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.

Nepal, in return, managed to chase the target at the loss of 4 wickets in 18 overs with 9.22 run rate.

Kushal Bhurtel and Kushal Malla batted explosively to meet the target- 43 runs off 25 balls and 65 runs off 34 balls respectively.

Meanwhile, Kushal Malla has been declared as the player of the match.
