Nepal beat UAE by 7 wickets

Kathmandu, 2 May: Nepal has won the final match of ACC Men’s Premier League One Day International defeating UAE.

Nepal chased the target of 118 runs at a loss of  3 wickets with 117 balls remaining in the match played at TU Cricket Ground.

The final match played yesterday had been postponed due to rain. The game was halted at 27.3 overs with UAE scoring 106 runs with a loss of 9 wickets.

The game today was resumed with Lalit Rajbanshi of Nepal to bowl the fourth bowl of the 28th over.

Nepal progressed to the final after a no result semi-final against Kuwait. Their better performance in the group stage earned them the spot in the final. UAE defeated Oman in the second semi-final by 2 runs via DLS method
