National technology conference begins today in Nepalgunj, organized by Lumbini University

Nepalgunj – A national conference on technology for transformation is set to begin today in Nepalgunj. The two-day conference is organized by the Research, Innovation, and Development Unit under the Institute of Engineering and Information Technology at Lumbini Technical University.

Dr. Niraj KC, Dean of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, expressed confidence that the conference will play a significant role in addressing societal issues through the effective implementation of technical knowledge.

According to him, the conference will feature nine thematic sessions. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Binod Prasad Dhakal mentioned that the conference will include presentations by young researchers and a panel discussion on how to link technology with the development of Lumbini Province.

He informed that experts from various fields have been invited as speakers. Vice-Chancellor Dhakal expressed hope that the conference will contribute positively to developing Nepalgunj as a hub for technology. Registrar Associate Professor Reg Bahadur Bhandari stated that the conference will be useful in strengthening the relationship between the community and the technical university.

According to the conference coordinator, Chaturbhuj Bhatt, around 250 participants, including speakers, experts, researchers, and students, are expected to attend.
