Narayan Dutta Poudel appointed new Inspector General of Armed Police Force

Kathmandu – The leadership of the Armed Police Force Nepal has changed. In a special ceremony held at the Armed Police Force Nepal headquarters in Halchowk on Wednesday, Inspector General Raju Aryal handed over the baton and flag to the newly appointed Inspector General Narayan Dutta Poudel, thereby transferring the responsibilities of the organization.

The outgoing Inspector General Raju Aryal was given a ceremonial farewell in accordance with military tradition. On this occasion, the newly appointed Inspector General Poudel presented him with a token of appreciation.

Similarly, Anita Lamichhane Aryal, President of the Armed Police Family Women’s Association, was bid farewell with garlands by the association’s Vice President, Sabitra Kumari Poudel.

In his farewell address, outgoing Inspector General Raju Aryal described reaching the highest level of civilian security and retiring successfully as a significant achievement in his life.

He mentioned that he regarded the organization as a family and worked with discipline and integrity.

“The uniform of the Armed Police should be a symbol of trust for the good and a symbol of fear for criminals,” he said. He also thanked all the civil servants who supported him during his tenure.
