MP Ashika Tamang urges impartial probe into allegations against MP Krishnakumar Karki

Kathmandu – Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Member of Parliament Ashika Tamang has called for impartial investigations with evidence into sensitive issues related to women and motherhood.

Referring to the serious allegations against Morang-2 MP Krishnakumar Karki, she emphasized the necessity of uncovering the truth through investigation.

In a social media post, MP Tamang noted that women, whether domestic or foreign, are mothers of this earth.

She acknowledged the possibility that not everything seen or heard may be entirely true, stating, “Not everything that appears is necessarily true, but there must be an investigation into the matters that are being widely discussed.”

She stressed the need for thorough investigations with evidence, especially on sensitive issues like motherhood, without any bias.

Arguing that such matters should be viewed above politics and party interests, she made it clear that no one should be granted impunity under the protection of a party or family.

“The country is bigger than the party, and the world is bigger than the country,” MP Tamang wrote, “No one should face injustice here, and if someone commits injustice, even if it is a family member, we must not refrain from calling out the wrongdoing.”
