Moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, reports that Nepal is currently experiencing the partial effects of westerly winds, local winds, a low-pressure area near the eastern region, and a low-pressure line in the upper atmosphere over the central and eastern regions.

At present, there is generally cloudy weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, as well as Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country is experiencing partial cloud cover.

Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is occurring in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces, and in the mountainous areas of Lumbini Province.

According to the department, this afternoon, the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, including Sudurpaschim Province, will generally be cloudy, while the Terai region will have partial cloud cover.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, as well as in one or two places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

Additionally, tonight, the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, along with other parts of the country, will generally be cloudy, while the remaining areas will have partial cloud cover.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall and snowfall with thunder and lightning in a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, and in one or two places in the other provinces.
