Medical Professional Durga Prasai Admitted to Hospital

Medical professional Durga Prasai has been admitted to the hospital. Prasai was arrested for cybercrime on Sunday and was admitted to the hospital the same night.

According to the Cyber Bureau, he was arrested on charges of violating the Electronic Transactions Act and was admitted to the hospital.

The bureau reported that during a health check-up, a problem related to blood pressure was identified, prompting the doctor to advise his admission to Bir Hospital.

Prasai was arrested yesterday from his home in Bhaktapur. He is accused of making statements on social media that allegedly defamed a woman.

The police have taken a three-day remand for further investigation against him.
