Mechi Customs Office collects 69.83% of annual revenue target in Jhapa

The Mechi Customs Office in Bhadrapur, Jhapa, collected revenue amounting to Rs 13.14 billion by the end of Chaitra in the current fiscal year 2082/83. This figure represents 69.83% of the target set for the fiscal year. According to Information Officer Ishwar Kumar Humagain, the office had set a target of collecting Rs 18.87 billion in revenue for the current fiscal year.

In the month of Chaitra alone, revenue collection reached Rs 1.60 billion, which is 94.69% of the target for that month.

According to the office’s data, revenue collection in the current fiscal year was Rs 1.26 billion in Shrawan, Rs 1.36 billion in Bhadra, Rs 1.52 billion in Ashwin, and Rs 1.30 billion in Kartik.

Similarly, revenue collection amounted to Rs 1.36 billion in Mangsir, Rs 1.58 billion in Poush, Rs 1.47 billion in Magh, and Rs 1.65 billion in Falgun, as reported by the office.
