Manhunt following deadly shootings in U S underway

Kathmandu, 26 Oct: The mass shooting at a bowling alley and restaurant on Wednesday night in the United States- Lewiston, Maine- killed at least 22, leaving more than 50 wounded, according to the New York Post.

Lewiston Police has identified Robert Card, 40, a trained firearms instructor with past mental health issues, as ‘person of interest’ and warned that Card should be considered armed and dangerous, it added.

As the manhunt is underway, residents and businesses there are advised to lock their doors and shelter in place, said the paper, adding Jared Golden, Lewiston’s House representative urged residents to follow the directions of law enforcement.
