Lumbini Province reshuffles Cabinet, appoints five new ministers

Lumbini Province’s Cabinet has been reshuffled, with five newly appointed ministers taking their oath of office and secrecy. Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Ghartimagar administered the oath to the new ministers on Monday.

The Cabinet was restructured on the recommendation of Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, in accordance with Article 168, Clause 9 of Nepal’s Constitution.

The reshuffled Cabinet includes four ministers from the UML and one from the Janata Samajwadi Party, totaling five new appointments. The newly appointed ministers are Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary, Dilliraj Bhusal, Ramji Prasad Ghimire, Ratna Bahadur Khatri, and Bhandarilal Ahir.

Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary has been assigned the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives; Dilliraj Bhusal the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation; Ramji Prasad Ghimire the Ministry of Health; Ratna Bahadur Khatri the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development; and Bhandarilal Ahir the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, former Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar, Deputy Speaker Menuka Khand KC, among others.
